Raid finds 10 marijuana plants

A 40-YEAR-OLD man appeared at the Nadi Magistrates Court yesterday after the seizure of ten green plants confirmed to be marijuana from his farm in Malevu, Sigatoka.

The accused was arrested on Monday morning after a police drug raid.

Police spokesperson

Savaira Tabua said the accused appeared for one count of unlawful cultivation of illicit drugs.

He will be remanded in custody until he reappears in court on January 15, 2021.
