YOUR editorial on 05/01 will resonate with most if not all motorists.

The biggest question is the sustainability of our roads.

I believe we now know the answer to that after reading the OAG’s report on misprocurement of ADBWorld Bank funding.

Are we making roads for the sake of making them and not adhering to any standard? The issues regarding our roads can be tracked back in time and is like our road in Viti Levu, that goes around in circle.

I for one am glad the FRA has a road map for our roads or potholes so to speak.

They literally mark potholes with white spray paint to warn motorists of the impending shock you’ll get if you don’t manoeuvre around the white markings.

We hope for the best in 2021 in regards to our roads and we should also expect the worst.

Either way, no one should be waiting with bated breath for any improvements.
