IN a phone call Trump berated and threatened Georgia’s top election official to overturn the presidential election results in his favour. What’s next, a military coup? I believe Trump has demonstrated an unprecedented contempt for the norms of democratic governance. He has brought the high office of the president of the United States of America into disrepute.

I believe the sooner he’s gone, the better for America and the world.
