Stimulus cheques

SAIPAN — The Northern Marianas is expected to receive stimulus cheques worth about $US47 million ($F95 million) as part of the $US900 billion ($F1.8 trillion) federal pandemic relief package. Though not as big as the $US1200 ($F2448) that was handed out to taxpayers during the first round of stimulus cheques, Governor Ralph Torres said he was still thankful for the $US600 ($F1220) individual taxpayers will receive under the COVID-19 relief package.
