Fiji FA warning

-

IT is very disappointing to see Fiji FA warning all district players and officials to make it compulsory to get the vaccine jabs to play in Fiji FA competitions.

I believe you should apologise to the other sporting organisations, as I have not heard any saying vaccination is not good.

You are definitely making up your own assumption and ridiculing other sports.

All sporting bodies want to get back to normality and I am sure the sports people will definitely get vaccinated for the common good.

Rajesh Patel I believe it is important that you follow the Health Minister’s response.

I believe he clearly states that no civil servants or any individual can be forced to be vaccinated.

I believe definitely it is fundamental for people to get inoculated to protect their families, communities and the nation.

Even, Minister for Transport, Faiyaz Koya has assured people from the maritime islands that vaccination is not a prerequisite for travel in and out of maritime zones.

Just leave all the MOH protocols and guidelines to PS Dr James Fong and his hardworking team.

On a brighter side I commend executive board member, Naziah Ali Krishna in leading the charge to see that food packages given to both men and women are of equal value and giving equal priority to women footballers.

Meanwhile, Mr Patel be prepared for normality to return so that you can resume the Digicel Premier League and Women’s super League competition.

Hopefully, the maro bhago Fiji FACT can boost Fiji FA’s coffers despite the huge funding given by FIFA and more to come.

Finally, health takes precedence over any wealth, and may God guide and bless all Fijians during this COVID-19 pandemic. RAYMOND SINGH
