Inspirational stories at our doorsteps

-

THE people’s newspaper never runs of inspirational and motivational stories in the People column.

Walter Brian Whippy, who featured in this week’s column (FT 28/06), shared that success was a by-product of experience.

The Raiwai-based screen printer shared how his 15 years of experience led to the success of his business and allowed him to provide for his family.

Walter, via Waisale Koroiwasa’s story, shared how he fell in love with screen printing, and how he ended up establishing Takali Ocean screen printing company.

He stated that he never regretted starting his own business, as customers began to realise that they could rely on his on-time service.

As he progressed, he gained confidence, and his faith and trust in God had been strengthened.

According to Walter, “God can use you to be a blessing to others”.

This is so true! via yesterday’s the People column, Shiraz Kasim shared the story of 62-year-old Ami Chand who had this message for us, “Nothing beats hard work because success comes to those who persevere and make sacrifices, more so during this current health crisis in the country. Never give up”.

Kasim relayed the story of Ami who dropped out of school, but worked hard to provide for his family’s living and educate his children.

Ami took readers through down memory lane which was so touching.

Vinaka vakalevu Walter, Ami, Waisale and Shiraz for the inspirational stories at our doorsteps!
