Vularika trains with Suva for Skipper

FORMER Fijian Drua utility back Serupepeli Vularika is expected to feature for the Suva side in the Skipper Cup competitio­n against Nadroga this Saturday.

Suva Rugby Union team manager Nemani Tuifagalel­e has confirmed Vularika is training with the team.

He added that while it was good to have someone of Vularika’s calibre in the squad, no one was guaranteed a spot in the matchday line-up.

“No one is actually guaranteed a spot. We have a full squad training and only the best will be selected.”

Meanwhile, Tuifagalel­e said the match against Nadroga was a crucial one and his team would be out for nothing less than a win.

Suva hosts Nadroga at 3pm at a venue in the Capital City yet to be confirmed.

In other round six fixtures, Northland hosts Naitasiri at Gatward Park, Nadi battles Rewa at Prince Charles Park while Tailevu takes on Namosi.
