A new partnership
THE partnership between Vertiv and VirtualFlex will be relevant to businesses in Fiji acquiring high-end architected, virtualisation, storage and enduser computing solutions.
This, according to Minister for Commerce, Trade, Tourism and Transport Faiyaz Koya during the partnership launch at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva on Friday.
The partnership comes as demand in Fiji surges for uninterruptible power supply (UPS) technology to maintain business continuity and IT and data centre availability during power outages.
He said we now live in a digital world so the partnership would contribute to changing the way people think and ultimately how they do business.
“This success is a lesson, for every business whether you are small or a large business,” Mr Koya said.
“Your customer’s perception about you, is your reality”, so treat every customer as your source of learning and most importantly your reason to strive for excellence in everything you do as an organisation.
He said VirtualFlex started its operation with only three employees seven years and now it had grown to 18 employees providing cutting edge IT products, cloud based solutions and internet services.
“It is always encouraging and heart-warming to see businesses progressing and specialising in a specific field.
“And today, we are witnessing just that, through the achievement and partnership between Vertiv and VirtualFlex – we are preparing the industry for something greater.”
“VirtualFlex is an example of commitment and sheer determination.
“A business that began with only one client through a referral, now has over a hundred clients ranging from individuals, small and medium businesses and Government agencies, to name a few.
“There is no doubt that Fiji is the economic and technological hub of the Pacific – and partnerships such as that of VirtualFlex
and Vertiv indicate our capabilities as a nation in the digital space.”
