is seeking experienced and results oriented individuals who are passionate about Fiji to join our Head Office team in Nadi. These roles will perform various responsibili es within the Finance Department and support the realisa on of our Corporate Plan ensuring that the world knows that Fiji is the place ‘Where Happiness Finds You’.

The Finance Dept roles are :

1)

Accounts Officer

Facilitate payment of vendors, which also include verifica on of statutory obliga ons and resolving discrepancies

Review of all financial requisi ons made in the Dynamics NAV system Prepara on of all manual and online payment transac ons and reconciling monthly statements and transac ons

Processing of accounts payable transac ons for the Head Office team Monitor contractual agreements for all payments related to the Head Office

Qualifica ons, Experience and Essen al A ributes:

Ter ary qualified in Accoun ng or Finance from a recognised University with at least 3 years proven experience in a similar field.

Ability to maintain confiden al and me culous records. Competent in using Microso Dynamics Navision, MS Excel and Word Strong communica on and analy cal skills.

Good working knowledge of VAT and other statutory taxa on of Fiji and of Tourism Fiji’s key markets.

Excellent organisa on skills and an cipate work needs professionally with customers and tourism stakeholders.

Develop your overall knowledge of Finance in a statutory organisa on with global offices and gain opera onal, marke ng and regional project experience during the program.

Assist in the year end statutory audit informa on and evidence provision and produc on of Tourism Fiji’s year end accounts, with exposure to financial and administra ve opera ons of our interna onal offices.

Gain exposure in the produc on of tax computa ons and statutory accounts of our global offices.

Ter ary qualified in Accoun ng or Finance from a recognised University with at least a year’s proven experience in a similar field using Microso Dynamics Navision

Enthusias c, proac ve and inquisi ve with an interest to develop a career in Finance and improve the way things are done

Ability to analyse informa on and make recommenda ons.

Good verbal and wri en communica ons to get messages across clearly especially to a diverse team and welcoming different perspec ves.

The ability to undertake mul ple priori es with a ‘can do’ a tude will be highly regarded.

Is expected to relate and apply the knowledge acquired in the academic se ng to the work culture at Tourism Fiji.

Will be provided with opportuni es to a ain and demonstrate vital competencies that will broadly prepare them for a successful transi on into the workplace

The program is open to students who have fully completed studies and awai ng university gradua on. The interns will receive weekly allowances.
