Rebranding strategy
THE Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation (FCEF) has launched their rebranding strategy with focus on improved services and capabilities and a revamped logo and website. This, along with significant changes to the council make-up, was announced at their ‘Refresh’ cocktail event at GPH, Suva.
“It is imperative that I share that it is not just our logo that will change; we intend to roll out a change in the entire branding of FCEF and this will be reflected in the website, our social media, our messaging and most importantly our focus to better reflect the way we serve our members and how we engage with our partners and stakeholders,” said FCEF board president Vinay Narsey.
Chief guest at the event, Acting Prime Minister and Minister for Trade, Cooperatives, SMEs and Communications Manoa Kamikamica said, “For an economy such as ours, the voices of businesses must be heard.”
“I thank (FCEF) sincerely for being the conduit for these businesses, and the link between the public sector and the private sector. We know FCEF will remain a close partner in creating solutions for our country.”
FCEF chief executive officer Kameli Batiweti said the revamped website would include tiers of benefits to incentivise members to grow and expand their businesses. He said the council make-up would be altered to accommodate this strategy. The federation is also in discussion and nearing the final stages of launching an MSME (micro, small and medium enterprises) council.
“Our focus is to not only encourage (MSMEs) to join the council but, in the process, to grow themselves within the council to become more formal, because when they become a more formal business there are more benefits that they can derive,” he said.
The revamped FCEF website is expected to launch within 2 to 3 weeks.
