Eco-friendly printery
FOR more than 30 years, Star Printery Ltd has carved its name in the commercial printing industry.
The company has created itself as a premier in the printing industry offering its clients a wide range of services, products and embellishments to create and ensure a pleasant and unique experience.
Respectively, the company also acknowledges the important event such as Global Recycling Day.
“Global Recycling Day holds significant importance for our company as it symbolises our commitment to raising awareness about recycling’s pivotal role in preserving our natural resources for future generations,” said Star Printery Ltd, director Vikesh Chauhan.
“The significance of having a dedicated day to raise awareness about recycling cannot be overstated. It serves as a crucial reminder of our collective responsibility towards safeguarding the environment for posterity.
“The primary material utilised in our product manufacturing is paper, chosen for its biodegradability and sustainability.
“We ensure that the paper we source originates from mills committed to responsible harvesting practices, often allowing for recyclability, further minimising environmental impact.
“The decision to prioritise paper over plastic aligns with research from organisations like IUCN, highlighting that 50 per cent of plastic waste is from the commercial sector, particularly in commercial sectors.
“We provide paper alternatives for food and product packaging because of paper’s biodegradable nature and comparatively shorter decomposition period make it a more environmentally sound choice for businesses and commercial sector.”
He said the company has plans of furthering their awareness while also practising it.
“To raise awareness and implement our sustainability goals, we actively engage in partnerships with recycling initiatives and emphasise waste reduction in our production processes.
“By integrating sustainability into our daily operations, we aim to inspire others to adopt similar practices for a greener future.
“We have implemented recycling through providing our paper wastage to a company that produces toilet tissue from it.”
Mr Chauhan also gave timely advice with the hopes of commemorating Global Recycling Day.
“As we commemorate Global Recycling Day, our advice to the public is to recognise that recycling and environmental protection should be integral components of everyday life, transcending the boundaries of a single day.
“Embracing sustainable practices today ensures a brighter tomorrow for all.”
