Avant sa naissance en 1966 à San Giovanni Valdarno – non loin de Florence –, trois générations d’ébéniste avaient précédé Francesco Perini. D’où le talent hors pair de cet artisan repéré par la Gallery Fumi qui lui commande régulièrement des pièces… Des tables luxueuses qui étalent sur leur plan une marqueterie aussi graphique que naturelle, entremêlant le bois avec de l’onyx, de l’obsidienne, du travertin ou encore du marbre. Refining tradition
Before he was born, in San Giovanni Valdarno (near Florence) in 1966, the Perini family had already been cabinetmakers for three generations. Hence his life as an artisan, whose extraordinary talent brought him to the attention of Gallery Fumi, a source of regular commissions. Francesco Perini’s sumptuous tables are adorned with marquetry at once graphic and natural, mixing wood with onyx, obsidian, travertine, marble… The height of refinement in the choice and use of materials.
