Le sens des détails Depuis son agence brésilienne, rebaptisée Studio MK27 en 2001, l’architecte auréolé de moult récompenses traite architecture et design selon un même processus créatif où seules les échelles sont modifiées. En 2020, il a développé pour Minotti trois collections, Boteco, Linha et Daiki. Jouant avec les volumes et combinant différents types de marbre, bois et métal, elles répondent à un projet pour +55design : des lampes fabriquées à partir de paniers produits par la tribu indigène Baniwa et une communauté d’Amazonie. A feel for detail At his agency, renamed Studio MK27 in 2001, the multi-award-winning Brazilian architect pursues the same creative process in both architecture and design, adapting only the scale. In 2020 he has completed three collections for Minotti, entitled Boteco, Linha and Daiki. Based on interplays of volumes and different types of marble, wood and metal, they resonate with another project for +55design: lamps made from baskets produced by the indigenous Baniwa people and an Amazonian community.
