Un nouveau regard
Les objets de cette jeune designeuse formée à l’École Duperré puis à la Design Academy Eindhoven interrogent la matière dans ce qu’elle peut représenter de plus pur, fragile et tangible. Ces derniers temps, elle a décliné des objets en lin, repensant les usages de cette fibre avant tissage. Elle se penche, en parallèle, sur le parchemin, le linoléum… et d’autres envies se dessinent. Ses objets, autoédités, ont été vus à Collectible, à Bruxelles, ou à la Manufacture de Lille en septembre 2020 dans une exposition imaginée par Li Edelkoort. M.B.
Fresh perspectives
The creations of this young designer, trained at École Duperré and Design Academy Eindhoven, plumb the nature of her materials in their purest, most ephemeral, most tangible state. Most recently she has been working with flax, rethinking the way the fibers are used before weaving. In parallel she is investigating parchment and linoleum, and has other substances in mind for future investigations. This year her self-produced pieces were on view at Collectible in Brussels and in an exhibition conceived by Li Edelkoort at La Manufacture in Lille last September. M.B.
