Le designer italien installé à Londres a élu le bois recyclé comme matériau de prédilection. Il l’associe à du plastique composite pour Bi-Compo livré à l’attention de Jasper Morrison, qui avait demandé à 17 designers de concevoir un banc pour la Biennale 2019 de Fiskars en Finlande. L’étagère modulaire Musical Shelf a de son côté été commandée par le London Design Festival. Oblique, elle est en chêne rouge américain, bois cultivé de façon durable, forcément. C.B. Resolute recycler
Reclaimed wood is the material of choice for this London-based Italian designer. He combined it with plastic composite for the Bi-Compo bench, created under the impetus of Jasper Morrison, who invited 17 designers to contribute benches to the 2019 Fiskars Biennale in Finland. Martino Gamper’s obliquely angular Musical Shelf, commissioned by the London Design Festival, is an exception, made of sustainably grown American red oak. C.B.
