Saša Štucin et Nicholas Gardner se sont rencontrés sur les bancs du Royal College of Art et se sont assez vite imposés comme les trublions du design, balançant par la fenêtre tous les dogmes qui vont avec. Loin du fonctionnalisme, ils flirtent avec les frontières de l’art, créant un mobilier qui questionne l’imagerie contemporaine et ses modes de représentation. Une approche conceptuelle et scénographique qui les a déjà amenés à exposer dans toutes les foires internationales, de Design Miami/Basel à Nomad. O.D. Cultivating the concept
Soon after they met at the Royal College of Art, Saša Štucin and Nicholas Gardner gained a reputation as enfants terribles of design, defying all doctrine and precepts. Far from functionalism, they flirt with the frontiers of art, creating furniture that challenges contemporary imagery and its modes of representation. Their conceptual, scenographic approach has put them in the spotlight at all the international fairs, from Design Miami/Basel to Nomad. O.D.
