Rejecting all ostentation, Nicolas Schuybroek strives for timeless simplicity, highlighting raw materials and clean-cut lines. Most of his work is for private commissions, primarily in France and Belgium. What’s new. His recent projects include a sprawling apartment in western Paris, an apartment in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village and several residences in Belgium, including the home of the owners of Obumex in Bruges and a vacation house conceived like a beach cottage in Knokke.
