Capturing the spirit
Esthetic. The interiors composed by Roberto Peregalli and Laura Sartori Rimini always bear the mark of time. Respectively a philosopher and an architect by training, the partners are masters of precision, painstakingly seeking out the right patina, materials and atmosphere. Recently completed. In 2020, despite the pandemic lockdown, they completed a house with an exterior by Frank Lloyd Wright and an apartment in a house by Robert Adam in London, for which they described their work as archaeological, excavating the original moldings and bas-reliefs. Plus a pied-à-terre, also in London, a townhouse in New York and, in Switzerland, a chalet in Gstaad and a house in the Engadin region.
