To reconnect past and present, bridge the gap between cultures, highlight the history and soul of a place—and bring it into line with a contempora­ry vision. Such is the philosophy of Aline Asmar d’Amman, a designer best known for the spaces she created at the Hôtel de Crillon and the new dining room of the restaurant Le Jules Verne in Paris.
