Marion Mailaender
PARIS The element of surprise
What’s new. In 2020 she completed the interiors of the hotel-restaurant Tuba in Marseille, a seafront spot that became an Instagram sensation after the first lockdown, as well as an all-concrete penthouse in Brussels, perched atop a former parking garage from the 1970s. Projects that perfectly reflect her creative spirit: unique, offbeat, and nourished by references that colored her childhood in the 1980s. In progress. With the Tuba team she recently began planning the décor of a hotel in Cassis, at the same time updating a hotel in southeastern Paris and working with her artist husband Thomas Mailaender, in partnership with Le Bon Coin, on an original version of the Tiny House, taking the form of a 30 sq.m. (323 sq. ft.) glass pyramid.
