École Camondo graduate Pierre Gonalons opened his studio at age 23, first specializing in furniture design before branching out to interiors in 2016. Style. With his designer’s sensibility, he takes a rational approach to the conception of space, but he also likes the unexpected, especially in contrasts between minimalism and eclecticism. From project to project he explores a wide range of stylistic references, from neoclassicism to the seventies. What’s new. His latest projects include a residence plus a new showroom for the Paradisoterrestre design brand in Bologna, apartments in a historic building in Strasbourg and, in Paris, the record/book shop Rupture and the opening of his own gallery.
