In 1660, King Louis XV of France mar­ried Maria Theresa of Aus­tria, In­fanta of Spain, in the church of Saint-jean­bap­tise in Saint-jean-de-luz. A month be­fore the wed­ding, he ar­rived with his en­tire en­tourage and resided at Mai­son Louis XV (Mai­son Lo­ho­bi­ague-enea) while Maria Theresa stayed at the man­sion named Joa­noe­nia, known as the Mai­son de L’in­fante, fac­ing the sea.
