LANDES Courant d’huchet Nature Reserve

Bordeaux J'Adore - - Exploring -

The Courant d’huchet is an exceptional spot in the Landes for nature lovers. It links the Léon Pond to the beaches at Moliets on the Atlantic coast. The Nature Reserve runs on either side of the river and is known for its fauna and flora. You can explore the reserve on foot or by bike on 15 km of paths. Or you can explore in a flat-bottomed ‘batelier’ from the pier on Léon Pond. In terms of wildlife, you’re likely to spot deer as well as Greylag geese, teals and sandpipers. www.reservenaturellecouranthuchet.org
