BORDEAUX AND SAINT-EMIL­ION: UNESCO GREAT GROWTHS

The Bordeaux and Saint-emil­ion Tourist Of­fices have joined forces to of­fer vis­i­tors the op­por­tu­nity of spend­ing a day ex­plor­ing these two out­stand­ing UNESCO World Her­itage sites. The Bordeaux tour trav­els across the city’s 1,810 hectares en­abling vis­i­tors to dis­cover beau­ti­ful 18th cen­tury build­ings, 347 his­toric mon­u­ments and a 150-hectare listed area. The Saint-emil­ion tour in­cludes vine­yards but also amaz­ing un­der­ground mon­u­ments and the me­dieval town’s beau­ti­ful ar­chi­tec­ture. A visit to a fam­ily-owned wine château in the Saint-emil­ion ap­pel­la­tion, fol­lowed by a tast­ing and re­laxed lunch with the owner, is also planned. Full-day guided coach tour from Bordeaux (French and English).

Pro­gram: 09.30 am: de­par­ture from the Bordeaux Tourist Of­fice and city tour by coach. 11.00 am: de­par­ture for Saint-emil­ion. 11.45 am: tour of a wine château fol­lowed by a buf­fet lunch with the owner. 02.45 pm: guided coach tour of the Saint-emil­ion vine­yards and walk­ing tour of the me­dieval town. 06.45 pm: ar­rival in Bordeaux. In­cluded: guide, trans­port, vis­its, tast­ing and lunch. Lim­ited to 25 peo­ple. In part­ner­ship with the Saint-emil­ion Tourist Of­fice.
