THE CHARTRONS DIS­TRICT

The Chartrons dis­trict, lo­cated along the Garonne River, is fa­mous for its superb stone ed­i­fices, built by the ma­jor Bor­deaux wine ship­pers in the 18th and 19th cen­turies. This ex­cur­sion to the home of the masters of Bor­deaux wine ends with a tour of the Musée des Né­go­ciants (Wine-ship­pers’ Mu­seum) and a wine tast­ing.
