PARADIS LATIN

Created in 1889, the Paradis Latin is found in the heart of the Latin Quarter on the Left Bank in the 5th arrondissement. Originally the original Théâtre Latin, which was built in 1803 and quickly became one of the chicest addresses in the Latin Quarter, the theatre was rebuilt in 1889 by Gustave Eiffel and renamed the Paradis Latin, becoming an extravagant cabaret of dance and music. Today, the cabaret’s current revue, Paradis à la Folie!, is a true Parisian show full of fun and magic. Created by author and director Christian Dura, the show features a talented dance troupe and two extraordinary acrobats who grasp the audience’s attention while flying above them in the air.

Fondé en 1889, le Paradis Latin se situe au coeur du Quartier Latin, sur la Rive gauche, dans le 5e arrondissement de Paris. À l’origine, le Théâtre Latin, créé en 1803, se trouve à cet emplacement. C’est l’une des adresses chic du moment dans ce quartier. En 1989, Gustave Eiffel le reconstruit et il est rebaptisé le Paradis Latin, devenant un cabaret extravagant, véritable temple de la danse et de la musique. De nos jours, la revue du cabaret « Paradis à la Folie » offre un spectacle parisien authentique où se mêlent divertissement et magie. Imaginé par l’auteur et metteur en scène Christian Dura, ce show révèle une troupe de danseurs talentueux ainsi que deux acrobates extraordinaires et captivants, qui semblent voler dans les airs.
