This museum housed in a 19th century private mansion is organising a major exhibition devoted to Caravaggio, an emblematic figure of the European art world in the late 16th and early 17th century. Nine masterpieces by the artist have been brought together exceptionally in France for this exhibition entitled Caravaggio in Rome, Friends and Enemies. Through to January 28th Ce musée, situé dans un hôtel particulier du XIXE siècle, organise une exposition majeure dédiée à Caravage, figure emblématique de l’art européen de la fin du XVIE et du début du XVIIE siècle.
