The Fondation Louis Vuitton is presenting the works of two major artists of the 20th century, Egon Schiele who worked at the beginning of that century in Vienna and Jean-michel Basquiat who worked in the 1980s in New York. Both artists died in their twenties and consequently had short yet dazzling careers with both producing works that have left a lasting impact and both becoming icons. Through to January 14th La Fondation Louis Vuitton présente les oeuvres de deux artistes majeurs du XXE siècle : Egon Schiele, peintre à Vienne au début du siècle, et Jean-michel Basquiat, artiste à New York dans les années 1980. Morts avant d’avoir atteint 30 ans, ils ont tous deux connu des carrières aussi fulgurantes qu’intenses.
