Pigalle Fromage Club is the perfect bar to enjoy an aperitif in Paris’s Pigalle neighbourhood. It offers a unique combination of local produce and Japanese sake. Create your own aperitif platter by choosing from a mouth-watering selection of cheeses (some created and matured in Paris by La Laiterie de Paris), artisanal Iberian charcuterie, tapenades and more, accompanied by an impressive assortment of sake from different regions in Japan, by the glass. Custom tasting workshops are also offered. This magnificent restaurant bathed in natural light features elegant decor and subtle culinary art, offering fine French cuisine with Japanese flavours under the guidance of Japanese chef Kayori Hirano. The limited selection guarantees extreme freshness. The seasoning of the wild sea bass is magnificent, and the crunchy cream puff is delicious. Opening onto the dining area, the kitchen provides a show to be admired. Set price starter & main dish or main dish & dessert for 25€ for lunch. In this restaurant with its 100% home-made cuisine that uses fresh ingredients, you shouldn’t trust appearances, because all the dishes are illusions. The main dishes are desserts, and the desserts are main dishes. It’s a stunning and intriguing visual sleight of hand. Would you like to try some spaghetti bolognaise? Surprise! It’s actually lemon meringue pie. What about a Saint-honoré? Not a chance, it’s a burger. Go on, let yourself be astonished. With over ten restaurants to its name in the Paris Ile-de-france region, Vapiano serves up premium, authentic and hearty Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. At each restaurant, diners come to sit back and relax while tucking into delicious Italian specialities. From the pasta and pizza to the salads and risottos, everything here is fresh, home-made and lovingly prepared before your eyes. This summer, come and soak up the sunshine on the terraces at the Vapiano in Bercy Village or La Défense and treat yourself to healthy rice bowls such as the Riso Nero E Scampi. Enjoy!
