A SUMMER FUN BERCY VILLAGE

abulous festivitie­s, creative colors, magical music, invigorati­ng yoga, a whirlwind of colorful bubbles and guided tours all await in the charming venue of Bercy Village for a summer of fun and relaxation. Bubble Sky kicks off on June 8th and is staying in town until August 31st. The Cour Saint-emilion in the heart of Bercy Village will be decked out in pink, blue, yellow and red through a sky made up of multi-colored bubbles. 3200 bubbles will be suspended along a length of 200 meters for Bubble Sky, transformi­ng Bercy Village into a unique and colorful crossroad to enchant young and old alike. Bercy Village has come together with the Portuguese artist Patricia Cunha, known for its project “Umbrella Sky” exhibited in several internatio­nal cities.

And throughout the summer musical after work sessions are on hand which can be enjoyed from one of the fine outdoor terraces that pepper the venue. A summery and varied program has been brought together for open air concert lovers to enjoy from June 21st through to August 29th. The program of free concerts featuring young talents from the French musical scene ranging from rock, folk to pop and electro. Festival Paris l’été is stopping off at Bercy on July 19th and July 26th with free shows from performanc­e troupes.

You can relax at a Yoga Afterwork on June 23rd (a special Sunday event to celebrate Internatio­nal Yoga Day), July 16th and August 20th. And don’t miss a guided tour of the fabulous venue that is Bercy Village in conjunctio­n with Aime Paris (www.aimeparis.com) at 11am on June 9th, July 7th and 28th and in August on the 11th and 25th.
