DOMAINE DE CHAUMONT- SUR- LOIRE

The Domain of Chaumont-sur-loire is a haven for the arts and for gardening as well, for its grounds have been showcasing unique landscape design since 1992. Its grounds are home to the famous International Garden Festival being held this year from April 25th to November 3rd and presenting 26 superb gardens during the event entitled "Gardens of Paradise". The Festival provides an excellent occasion to visit the estate’s Castle dating from the 15th to the 19th centuries, Historic Grounds and Stables and to admire exhibitions and installations by leading artists like Sheila Hicks, Gao Xingjian, El Anatsui, Stéphane Thidet and Christian Renonciat. Looking out over the shores of the Loire River, it offers one of the most beautiful views onto the royal river.

Le Domaine de Chaumont-sur-loire est un véritable havre de paix pour les amateurs d’art et de jardins. Depuis 1992, il accueille en effet le célèbre Festival International des Jardins, qui présente des créations paysagères uniques. Cette année, il se déroule du 25 avril au 03 novembre et fait découvrir 26 superbes jardins sur la thématique « Jardins de Paradis ». Le Festival est une excellente occasion de visiter le Château du Domaine, bâti entre le XVE et le XIXE siècle, son Parc Historique et ses Écuries. On peut également admirer diverses expositions et installations réalisées par des artistes en vogue comme Sheila Hicks, Gao Xingjian, El Anatsui, Stéphane Thidet ou encore Christian Renonciat. Surplombant les rives sauvages de la Loire, ce lieu offre l’une des plus belles vues sur le fleuve.
