GREATER PARIS

PARC ASTÉRIX CELEBRATING 35 YEARS IN GAULISH STYLE!

-

To celebrate its 35th anniversary, the home of the indomitable Gauls has a host of new attractions in store for you, promising a season that will live up to even the Celts' biggest celebrations.

Sing along to your heart's content with the first ever Gaulish musical C'est du Délire (whose title literally translates as “It's Madness!”). Join Groupidupianix and Sérotonine on their quest to become the greatest bard and the first female druid in the whole of Gaul. Twenty-five minutes of rousing songs, breathtaking sets and costumes worthy of the greatest Gaulish heroes await at the Théâtre de Panoramix.

During this special year, take your chance to soar to new heights with the new thrill ride The Tower of Edifis (or La Tour de Numérobis in French), which is taking up residence in the Egyptian zone. Hang at 40 metres, go for a spin and find your way back to earth during this unique experience. Alexandria's best architect, Edifis, always creates something totally unique and unexpected!

Recharge your batteries at P'OZ Kebab, the new food court opposite the Oziris attraction. It's perfect for fun times - and most especially it will help you get off the ground during the group levitation experience!

Then it's on to the redesigned Revenge of the Pirates: the Biggest Splash (or La revanche des Pirates, le Grand Splatch). Visiting Gauls of all ages will love outwitting all the pirates and their booby traps along the way. Once you are back on dry land, salute your favourite heroes as they go on their grand parade. Caesar, Cleopatra, the Gauls and the Pirates are all present and correct to introduce you to the new kid on the block, the Hispanic float. The parade is set to a brand new Gaulish soundtrack. Get ready to move your feet to the beat!

And of course there is the record-breaking Toutatis, which ranks as one of the park's top three attractions. Celebrate Toutatis at an all-new druid festival. Prove your mettle at 70 mph and heights of 51 metres on a ride like no other in the world.

Also not to be missed are the mesmerising Chez Gyrofolix - a family attraction aimed at your younger but no less adventurous Gauls - and Sanglier d'or, the biggest play area in the park.

Just over 20 miles north of Paris, Parc Astérix promises adventure and thrills for the whole family, inspired by the world of René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo.

Opening on 30 March 2024 RER B to Charles de Gaulle Airport, Terminal 1, then take the shuttle bus to Parc Astérix from platform A3. www.parcasterix.fr
