“My Buenos Aires” comes after a series of exhibitions related to the art scenes of chosen cities, a cycle that began in 2011 with Winnipeg, Canada, followed by Johannesburg, South Africa in 2013. The Maison Rouge draws our attention to art scenes that seem to be off the beaten track but have real artistic energy impregnating the works with the local territory, the town, its history and myths… This summer, Buenos Aires is in the spotlight thanks to Paula Aisemberg and Albertine de Galbert. Far from a romantic vision of the Argentinian capital, they seek to show the dynamics at work in the city.
