A l’invitation de L’Officiel Art, Lawrence Weiner, figure historique de l’art conceptuel, s’est emparé de dix pages du magazine qu’il a choisi d’investir avec une oeuvre composée pour l’occasion. Attentif à s’inscrire dans la thématique globale de ce numéro orienté vers l’écologie, l’artiste a composé un sonnet évoquant un paysage et sa destruction. Les images qu’il fait naître sont autant de sculptures potentielles qui conduisent à la lisière d’un autre monde. At the invitation of L’Officiel Art, Lawrence Weiner, an icon of conceptual art, has taken over 10 pages of the magazine with a work specially composed for the occasion. In order to stick to the ecological theme of this issue the artist has written a sonnet about a landscape and its destruction. The images he creates in the reader’s mind constitute potential sculptures which take the reader to the threshold of another world.
