For his ready-to-wear line, 85-year-old Giorgio Armani reveals an elegant and engaged proposition. From the show’s opening, deep black takes centre stage. Lot’s of bags, berets, tops and skirts bear the R-EA logo (for Recycled-Emporio Armani). For daytime: Victorian style masculine silhouettes (lavalliere collar shirt, dandy suits and ties, belted trousers, bouffant shorts…). And for night, a lighter, more feminine proposition (sheer blouses, emerald-green velvet, ruffles, lace…).
