ON THE GREEN

Louise Trotter moves away from the tennis court to go and spend time on a golf course. She still pays tribute to the Lacoste name, but this time focusing on golfing champion Simone Thion de la Chaume, René Lacoste’s wife. In a very colorful pell-mell (exit black, deep mint green takes over) and layer play: long pleated skirt with coordinated tank top, variations on track-bottoms and loafers, very chic costumes, base layers slipped under polos and shirts, caddy caps glued onto scalps. Pink gingham, orange chevrons, blue-white-andred houndstooth… elegant motifs also intermix.
