Is my body me?

That’s food for thought as our fifteenth anniversary approaches – yes, indeed, the magazine was launched in 2003. It’s a very pertinent question in this society that constantly asks us, and our children, to give the best of ourselves. Does our body mirror our personality? The individual personality is one of MilK’s ongoing themes, and my preferred subject. The gallery of portraits presented in this entirely revamped issue shows different “images” of contemporary parenthood. Above all, it shows strong, multifaceted personalities that readers may initially admire, then discreetly and, I hope, respectfully decipher with the help of this new magazine format. This issue intends to stop you in your tracks, to give you insight into the people featured that goes beyond mere physical appearance! While fashion urges us to embellish our bodies, we suggest, instead, that everyone follows their own – unique – path, with all its potential ups and downs.
