HIT THE ROAD
The French artist duo Hit the Road has been traveling the globe since 2012 in search of thrills to make spectacular images. This book offers the best of their photographic production, travel, exploration, urbex, parkour, and roofing. The authors also reveal the behind-the-scenes and meticulous preparation that allows them to make these exceptional shots. From Hong Kong to Ukraine, through France and England, their playground is vast. We discover photos taken from the highest tower of Dubai, in the heart of the Eiffel Tower, or from the depths of the irradiated zone of Chernobyl. Places never seen before, often inaccessible and forbidden to the public. A work that makes you dizzy both by the performance of the duo and by the beauty of the resulting images. A superb gift for all lovers of the extraordinary.
Hit the Road is formed by Clément Dumais and Paul Rdb, athletes of the movement, filmmakers and photographers. They work on the realization of physical feats and unique visual experiences. Born in 2012, the duo takes a fresh, weightless look at modern society and its architecture. Their productions invite discovery, travel, and physical and mental challenge. Hit the Road has traveled to more than 30 countries since its creation and has produced some impressive performances. From climbing the Eiffel Tower with bare hands to surviving in the Chernobyl exclusion zone, its artistic proposals surprise and question.
