Welcome to Shades of Grey Fine Art photography magazine number 32.

Winter is almost here, and it is a lazy time for most people. We'd rather stay home than wander outside in the cold. So it is the perfect time to read and get inspired. We start our journey with an impressive photo story about Cuba. First, Michael Chinnici spent a long time publishing a superb book called "Vanishing Cuba." Here is a great interview about this project and a set of street images from the book. Second, Mostafa Nodeh is an artist from Iran. As you can guess, there is not much snow there. Nevertheless, his painting influence makes these minimalist Winter images a joy to see. Manuello Paganelli is an impressive photojournalist. He works on extensive projects such as the Black Cowboys, Cuba, and his latest work about the Covid 19 pandemic in the midwest of the United States. Read his long interview to know more about this astonishing character. We published Ali Zolghadri in a previous issue of the magazine. He is back with another great set of minimalist images very different from his first story. Jenny Cameron is a landscape photographer. We met her in the Shades of Grey Group on Facebook. Here is a small collection of images. But another long story about her is coming soon. Shaibal Nandi is an Indian photographer we publish regularly. Here is a story about his wife stuck at home with the Covid 19. Finally, Michael Kenna is a Photography legend. He spent twelve years photographing the concentration camps in Europe. He is now exhibiting this work in Paris after donating to the French Government. I was lucky to have a long talk with him about this project. Here are some images from the exhibition before discussing his life in an upcoming issue. December is also a month for contests.
