And you filmed the performance?
Except that documenting this type of process is usually impossible. It's so hot, 2400 degrees, and so bright that your eyes start to see only a white line, there is no more color or structure. So we brought this 70 kg, 4k resolution, ultra-highdefinition camera from Hollywood to Liverpool. It captures 2000 frames per second so we were able - I had a crew of ten people - to capture the 3D steel transformation and turn it into a 2D film. The hotel guests could then “fall” into this film on the television of their rooms when they turned on the channel with the performance, for a striking element of surprise.
