The Pullman Magazine - - Openings - 37

This summer 2016, Pullman opened its very first hotel in the Baltic States in the heart of the Latvian capital. As the name implies, the Pullman Riga Old Town thrones in the middle of the World Heritage-listed historical centre of Riga. Adding two brand new buildings to an existing piece of landmark architecture dating back to the late 18th century, the unique design fuses tradition and modernity. The happy coupling of contemporary design and national heritage extends to the building's interior, which used to house the former horse stables of the Baron Münchausen, now lending its name to today's fusion cuisine restaurant Equus. Bringing a fascinating touch to the capital's historical centre does not, however, make the Pullman Riga Old Town less of an exemplar of comfort and state-of-the-art facilities. Located within five minutes' walking distance from Riga Congress Centre, the hotel evidences its commitment to technology with a sophisticated business hub and 8 conference rooms, two of them with an in-house capacity of 150 and 200 participants. When it comes to leisure, Pullman Riga Old Town features a Pullman Fit, a Pullman Spa, an indoor pool and many more services for professional and holiday guests alike to relax in a peaceful setting.
