Kopke White Colheita 1935

-

The nose is aromatic, elegant and relatively dry. It reveals notes of marmalade and tarte Tatin associated with a discreet note of tobacco, wood as well as slight notes of dried fruit, hazelnut and a discreet note of dried fig. The palate is fruity, nicely balanced and offers a beautiful freshness and a nice acid frame. In mouth this Porto expresses notes of marmalade, lemon, fine notes of caramelization and discreet notes of apricot associated with a (very) discreet note of fig, quince as well as discreet notes of tobacco and wood. Tannins are fine and structuring. Good length and nice persistence. A «dry» style Port wine. Good job!
