Château Bouscassé Menhir 2006
Madiran
The nose is aromatic and powerful. It reveals notes of leather, cassis and fine notes of ripe black fruit combined with a hint of spice, strawberry jam and a discreet touch of pepper, smoke, undergrowth, flowers and minerality. The palate is fruity, mineral, unctuous, elegant, racy and wellstructured. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and fine notes of plum, blueberry associated with a hint of raspberry, small red berries as well as touches of oak, minerality and vanilla. There are discreet notes of caramelization / hazelnut on the finish / aftertaste. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
