Tutiac Sélection Excellence 2012

Blaye Côtes-de-Bordeaux

-

The nose is fruity and finely gourmand. It reveals notes of cassis, flower (violet, a hint of cornflower) and blackberry associated with discreet notes of clay-minerality, plum and a very discreet touch of liquorice. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, relatively fat and offers a good volume and a racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis, boysenberry and discreet touches of red fruit combined with hints of sweet spices, cardamom as well as a hint of cocoa and flowers. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length and persistence.
