The nose is fruity, fine and quite gourmand. It reveals notes of blackberry, strawberry, fine notes of cassis cream and touches of undergrowt­h associated with hint of mocha, spice, licorice as well as a discreet hint of violet and a very discreet hint of bell pepper. The palate is fruity, gourmande, elegant, racy and offers suavity, fat, minerality as well as a tight and silky matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of raspberry, cherry and fine notes of blackberry associated with touches of cassis, wild strawberry, fine notes of undergrowt­h, liquorice as well as a hint of bell pepper and oak. Tannins are fine, well built and very slightly firm. Good length and persistenc­e. The finish is gourmande and suave.
