The nose is fruity, aromatic, finely powerful and offers a fine freshness. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and a discreet hint of plum associated with slight notes of red fruits, violets, liquorice as well as a fine note of minerality and discreet notes of vanilla. There is a discreet hint of mocha after aeration. The palate is fruity, fresh, juicy, well-balanced, relatively gourmande and offers a good definition, an acid frame, elegance and a good tannic structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, fresh strawberry and fine notes of cassis associated with fine notes of minerality, oak, carameliza­tion, licorice and crushed / jammy strawberry. Tannins are fine, structurin­g and a bit firm.
