Château Bernateau 2012

Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

-

The nose is elegant and relatively fine. It reveals notes of blackberry and touches of blueberry associated with a few slight notes of red berries (in the background), chocolate, liquorice, oak and a touch of Ceylon tea. The palate is fruity, racy, fat, ample, relatively mineral and a bit fleshy. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, crushed strawberry and cassis combined with touches of juicy blueberry as well as slight notes of chocolate (in the background) and a slight note of Zan on the finish. Tannins are fine, well-conducted and slightly firm. Good length.
