Saint-Estèphe

-

The nose is relatively aromatic as well as relatively elegant. It reveals notes of blackberry, small wild berries and hints of toasted oak combined with a slight hint of clove, coffee, very discrete notes of truffle, fine touches of flowers as well as a discreet hint of undergrowth, Sichuan pepper and a slight touch of fresh strawberry. The mouth is fruity, mineral, suave, silky, straight and offers a nice matter, tension, an acid frame, roundness, a fine concentration, a fine sensation of sweetness and a fine juiciness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and slight notes of gravelly minerality, strawberry associated with slight hints of truffle and a discreet hint of mocha. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
