Wine is my life! I have dedicated my life to it! What do we look for with wine at this time? The sensation of great wine in the sense of emotion and in its artistic dimension. A great wine is a great moment of emotion.It can only be produced by a great terroir. That is to say a place that has a gift of nature that others do not have and that puts it on the same level as other artists such as a cook, a musician, a soccer player… A great terroir is like a great painter, a great cook having the capacity to transmit the emotion.

To generate emotion, to express fully it must be in particular conditions. For example, if Vincent van Gogh had lived in a yacht moored in the bay of Cannes it would surely have been easy for us to know that. For the earth to be able to express itself it needs the help of man. Man is there to serve it and not take it’s place. To continue on with my metaphor I would say that I am the “brush-carrier”ofVan Gogh and that the painter is the terroir.
