The nose is fruity, fine, powerful, elegant and slightly gourmand. It reveals notes of blackberry, crushed strawberry and licorice associated with slight hints of cardamom, small red berries, caramelized oak as well as a discreet hint of vanilla and Cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, quite elegant, racy and offers a beautiful minerality, a beautiful grain, finesse, fat, a good definition, a slight suavity, a slight tension, straightness as well as a slight gourmandize. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, black cherry and crunchy strawberry associated with hints of raspberry, cassis, licorice, a slight hints of minerality, iodine/saline as well as discreet notes of sweet spices, woody notes and a discreet hints of caramelized oak on the persistence/aftertaste. Tannins are fine and wellbuilt. The persistence is suave. Good length and persistence.
